IT STARTED AS AN IDEA

In 2009, a group of University researchers began the development of a fully immersive, consumer experience laboratory to quantify packaging design. In an attempt to reduce the ambiguity and reliance on purely qualitative data, CUshop™ was constructed at the Harris A. Smith Building on the campus of Clemson University to pilot and confirm various biometric devices that could advance the packaging industry. Package InSight is a Clemson University start-up and partner who licenses the methodology, technology, and state-of-the-art immersive retail environment to provide our clients with the absolute highest quality data concerning package performance, consumer attention, and shelf impact. All studies are reviewed by university faculty, tested with strict accordance to the established test methods and protocols, and utilize the latest technology in biometric devices such as mobile eye-tracking.
